1996 Irish 2p Coin Necklace: Because we could all use a bit of a Lucky Punt.

Look, 1996 was a complicated year for many of us—there were far too many tracksuits, a suspicious amount of boy bands, and most of us were just one bad decision away from a disastrous haircut. This necklace, part of my Lucky Punt Collection, is a way to celebrate that era without having to actually re-live it.

Handcrafted in Greystones, I’ve taken a genuine 1996 Irish 2p coin and suspended it from a lightweight stainless steel paperclip chain that’s as durable as my ability to hold a grudge. To give it some coastal character, I’ve added repurposed turquoise and hematite beads—because if you’re going to take a punt on luck, you might as well look exceptionally stylish while doing it.
