Blood Moon Heart Necklace

I’m not saying wearing this will give you the ability to predict the future, but it’s a very solid start. The Blood Moon Heart is my tribute to the drama of a red sky and the quiet satisfaction of a well-placed accessory.

I’ve handcrafted this in my Greystones studio, mixing the red glitter into the plant-based resin by hand, so each heart has its own particular depth. It’s suspended on a 50cm stainless steel chain, which is essentially the workhorse of the jewellery world—reliable, tough, and looks great with a leather jacket or a very tired jumper.

The Details

• The Design: A shimmering red heart paired with a textured, silver-toned drop that catches the light like a secret you’re not quite ready to share.

• The Chain: A sensible, sturdy 50cm stainless steel chain. It’s durable enough to survive a coastal gale and won't tarnish when life gets a bit "atmospheric".

• The Materials: Eco-conscious resin and a hammered metal finish for that "found in a very chic ruin" look.

• The Vibe: "I’m a bit of a dark horse, but I still appreciate a mandatory amount of sparkle."

It’s bold, it’s a bit gothic, and it’s a hell of a lot more interesting than a standard heart-shaped box of chocolates.
