I’ve handcrafted this unique statement necklace using an authentic vintage 1976 Irish 5p coin featuring Percy Metcalfe's iconic bull design on one side and the classic Irish harp on the other. Suspended directly from a gold-plated front-facing toggle clasp, the coin is framed by luminous freshwater pearls and rich, repurposed amethyst pieces that bring a pop of royal purple.
Finished with a gold-plated chain, it sits comfortably at 45cm (measured above the toggle) for a classic, flattering length. Perfect whether you’re celebrating a 1976 milestone year or just love a proper piece of wearable history.
