Founded originally in Marseille before setting up in Paris, the Rémy Dis design house became legendary for theatrical, avant-garde pieces with a dry sense of humour and a touch of dramatic flair. They didn't do understated; they made jewellery for women who fully intended to be the most interesting person in the room.
This dramatic Y-drop statement piece brings all of that vintage French drama. Styled with an aged, antiqued metal link chain, it features a striking combination of iridescent porcelain ovals and diamond-shaped components, framed by faux pearl accents and sparkling rhinestone rondelles. The central vertical drop draws the eye down to a final pearl drop, giving it that romantic, slightly gothic-chic silhouette that defined high-end 80s couture fashion.
